Terms of service
Last updated August 2026
The service
SecretDrop lets you paste a password, key, or private note and receive a one-time link. When that link is opened, the secret is returned and permanently deleted from our servers. Deletion is irreversible — we cannot recover a burned secret. Secrets are encrypted at rest with ChaCha20-Poly1305 and the service is built to SOC 2 security controls.
No account, no identity
You do not need to register or provide any personal information to use SecretDrop. We do not know who you are and do not try to find out.
Your responsibilities
Do not use SecretDrop to share content that is illegal where you or the recipient are located. Do not use it to abuse, damage, or overload the service. You are responsible for verifying that the right person received the secret.
No guarantee of delivery
SecretDrop is a transit tool, not a backup. A secret that expires unused or is opened by the wrong person is gone permanently. Do not use it as your only copy of something important.
No warranty
SecretDrop is provided free of charge and as-is, without warranty of any kind. We make reasonable efforts to keep it running and secure, but we do not guarantee uptime, data integrity, or fitness for any particular purpose. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Agdir Drift AS is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of this service.
Changes, law, and contact
We may change these terms or the service at any time. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. These terms are governed by Norwegian law. Any dispute shall be resolved in Norwegian courts. Contact us at [email protected].
